Tech village is an office complex situated in the Givaat Ram campus of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The architecture juxtaposes three masses, mounted one above the other, each oriented towards different views, to create an iconic building to house the university’s high-tech start-ups.
Tech village is located inside the Hebrew University of Givat Ram, while the building’s main purpose is to house start up companies, it is still an integrated part of the university. The architecture is based on prefabricated elements to create a modular structure assembled from minimal parts. Utilizing this building strategy reduces costs and construction time, allowing for an iconic building in a constrained budget.

The project site sits on a mountainside and the three masses were oriented to give each a unique view of the city.
The sloped site exposes the building to its surroundings, allowing it to be viewed from the distance, creating a memorable piece of architecture in the university grounds.
