YE House is a house originally constructed under a social housing program in the early years of the State Of Israel that underwent small extensions over the years. The design aims to connect the eclectic shell of the ground floor, developed over the years without a comprehensive vision, to a new extension, merging the old and the new into a coherent architecture.

The house is situated on a cozy little site with ancient trees and intent of the design is to preserve the site and it’s qualities. The structural process includes adapting the existing structure to support the load of the new extension while creating minimal impact on the old frame. The design language aims to connect the eclectic shell of the ground floor that developed over the years without a comprehensive vision together with the new extension, thus creating a coherent architecture. The result is a unique house. rooted in its site and history, adapted to the new needs of the household, with a renewed identity.
