BA house is a private home for a young family in the Adollam region, in central Israel, south of Beit Shemesh. Surrounded by greenery, the house is designed to create separate areas for residential and public uses organized around a central courtyard, allowing the family to entertain guests without interrupting their day to day affairs.
Surrounded by a lush garden, the house is placed at the center of the unique plot in order to maximize the garden views. The structure is split into two main masses separating the house’s function between private and public, organized around a central courtyard and connected by the entrance foyer. The house is designed to serve the family’s needs in the years ahead, containing different stages of execution and while thoroughly designed, is simple to construct, in line with the owner’s desire to operate within a constrained budget.
