SCH House is situated in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the Jerusalem mountains, sitting on the mountainside on a site with a steep slope, the difference in typography allows the creation of two entrances, public and private. The modernist style and its consequent solutions manifest within the local Jerusalem context, incorporating local materials and contextual typology. The ground level is a glass cube juxtaposed by a hovering stone mass that continues as a cantilever over the front yard. Situated on the the roof is a swimming pool ending in a sublime panoramic view.

The house was designed from concept to execution through a continuous process between the different departments of the office, maintaining a coherent sequence of vision and execution. A work of art in architecture is a work that maintains a strong connection between the initial idea and the most esoteric building details; it’s safe to say that SCH House lives to this ideal.
